EK Core - Data Transfer

I would like to use the EK Core data transfer to export data via SFTP. During configuration, I received a message stating that I need the System Administrator role. As I am on a standard M-Files Cloud account, how can I implement this?
Should I create a ticket for the M-Files support team, or do you have any other suggestions?

Signed: Vault to Vault

I see that Vault to Vault feature is no longer supported in signed version for M-Files Cloud. We plan on migrating to M-Files Cloud soon and utilize this feature. Is their plans to bring this back?

Is it possible to import file(s) from a folder?

Is it possible to import file(s) from a folder - like the M-Files Connection to external sources - but create a mutli file document - and metadata from the XML file next to the pdf and other attachement?

For example:

the folder: C:\IMPORT\In on the M-Files server

the folder contains some files:

invoice_012345.pdf - the invoice

invoice_012345.xml - the invoice metadata

invoice_012345_att1.xlsx - the invoice attachement 1

invoice_012345_att2.eml - the invoice attachement 2

Is it possible to insert multiple images in Word?

Just saw the article on inserting images in Word. It describes how to insert one image at a bookmark in the word document.
A client in the construction industry has asked for a solution where they easily can create a report including multiple pre and post images of work done when they are out to repair something.
The number of images can vary from case to case. Images would be saved in M-Files as individual documents related to the case and shown in two multiselect lookup properties containing lists of pre and post images respectively.

The ideal solution would be to have a word template with one bookmark for pre images and one for post images, and then have Ext.Kit insert all of the images listed in the related property. Would that be possible? As I read the info in the configuration a file action will insert only the first file matching the filename wildcard. This means that you would need to insert multiple bookmarks for pre images and likewise for post images. Given that the number of pictures and their file names can vary from case to case it would be difficult if not impossible to solve the challenge described. Any suggestions?

Feature Request: Property Setter After Successful Rule Execution in every Module

Hello everyone

We would find it very helpful if all modules in Extension Kit supported the ability to use a property setter after a rule has completed successfully.

With the Orchestrator, rules simply run in sequence. In scenarios where a task continues in the background, this is difficult to handle cleanly. For example, when merging multiple PDFs, the job runs in the background, and the simplest solution would be to set a property once the rule has finished successfully, for example through an on-success action.

This would provide a reliable way to confirm that the process has been completed and allow the next steps to continue with certainty.

The delay options in the Orchestrator are not really a practical solution for this kind of scenario. There are workarounds, but none of them are as clean or effective as having a property setter available directly after successful rule execution.

We believe this would make many workflows more robust, transparent, and easier to manage.

Is this feature already planned, or can it be expected in an upcoming release?
