The latest version of the VAF, which is used in Extension Kit version 5.0.0, is not compatible with M-Files Server versions older than 23.6.

If you are using Extension Kit 5.0.0 with an M-Files version older than 23.6, we recommend the following options:

  • Update the M-Files Server to version 23.6, or
  • Revert to an older version of Extension Kit (pre-5.0.0). To do this, uninstall the existing version and install an older version, making sure that you have saved the configuration beforehand.
