## Download

Extension Kit Core is available for download in the [Download Center](https://extensionkit.unitfly.com/download-center/).

## Installation

Extension Kit Core is a Vault Application Framework (VAF) application, which is installed in M-Files in the same way as any other application.

Perform the following steps to install the connector:

1. Open **M-Files Admin**.
2. In the left-side tree view, expand the desired connection to M-Files Server.
3. In the left-side tree view, expand **Document Vaults**.
4. Still in the left-side tree view, right-click the document vault of your choice and select **Applications** from the context menu. Result: The Applications window is opened.
5. Click the **Install…** button.
6. Locate the application package stored on your computer and click **Open.** Result**:** You are prompted to restart the document vault.
7. Click **Yes** at the prompt.
8. If you have open sessions in the selected vault, you are prompted to close any open sessions. Click **Yes**.
9. After the application is installed, click **License** to install a license for the connector. Result: The Application License Management dialog is opened.
10. Click the **Install License**… button.
11. Locate the license file stored on your computer and click **Open**. Result: The License status section should now state that your license is valid.
12. Click **OK** to close the Application License Management dialog.
13. Click **Close** to close the Applications window.

Extension Kit Core is now installed and should be listed in the *Applications* window.

**System Requirements**

To ensure proper installation and functionality of Extension Kit Core in an on-premise environment, the server must have **.NET Framework version 4.7.2 or higher** installed.
