Hello everyone,

We’re introducing a new versioning scheme to improve clarity and align with release timelines.

What’s Changing?

Replacing the previous scheme (e.g., 5.4.0, 5.4.3), versions will now follow the format YY.MM.X, where:

• YY: Year of release
• MM: Month of release
• X: Incremental number for revisions (crucial bug fixes or patches).

Example:

• 24.11.0: Initial release in November 2024
• 24.11.1: First patch for the November 2024 release.

Aligned with M-Files’ versioning naming convention, this new approach removes major/minor version distinctions and adopts a timeline-based structure, making it easier to track updates.
