New Extension Kit Core release: 26.9.0

Hello everyone,

The latest Extension Kit Core release introduces improvements across Email Integration, Document AI, Document Processing, and more.

Here are some of the key updates:

• Email Notifications becomes Email Integration

  The Email Notifications module has been renamed to Email Integration to better reflect its expanded capabilities. In addition to sending emails, the module can now process email objects, allowing you to extract email content and attachments from configured objects.

• Smarter metadata assignment with Document AI

  Document AI now includes smart lookup options to improve metadata assignment during extraction. This release also adds support for analyzing .msg and .eml files with Microsoft Foundry.

• New Rename File action

  Document Processing now includes a new Rename File action, making it easier to automatically apply consistent file naming conventions as part of your workflows.
