FileChanged trigger executes rule even when there were no changes on file

Our team has investigated the described scenario, but we haven't encountered any issues. The rules are triggered only when the file changes. This includes changes to the file name, but apart from the object name, changes to other properties should not trigger the rule.

Could you please specify whether you've noticed this behavior with a particular property, or whether any property change causes the rule to trigger?

It would also be helpful if you could share the JSON configuration of your rule. That way, I can check whether there are any leftovers from a previous configuration or anything else that might be causing this behavior.

We observed that orchestrator triggers rule only when specific multiline text property is set programatically in legacy VAF application (VAF=2.1.0.5) from another related assignment (vault.ObjectPropertyOperations.SetProperty(objVer.ObjVer, SmartUpdateProperty(allComms_PD, allComments, vault));)

Changing that exact comments property manually in m-files client does not trigger orchestrator rule. Any hint what can we check additionally?

FYI i removed custom code to transfer comment from assignment to related document and configured new rule with Property operation module to do the same. File changed trigger is executed in this case aswell.
