Configuration options when Action is Optical text extraction #
If the selected action is OpticalTextExtraction, the following configuration sections are available:
Optical text extractions #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions
To configure text extraction:
- Expand OpticalTextExtractions.
- Click on Add OpticalTextExtraction.
- Expand OpticalTextExtraction [1].
By default, this section includes the following fields: Extraction text location type, Location on page, Extract from pages, Property.
Extraction text location type #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions > Extraction text location type
Defines the method for locating the extraction area on the page.
- Location (default): Extraction based on specific coordinates on the page.
- AnchorText: Extract the text to the right of a defined anchor text.
Location on page #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions > Extraction text location type: Location > Location on page
Displayed only when Extraction text location type is Location.
Defines the rectangular region on the page from which text will be extracted.
Within this section, you can define the X and Y coordinates, as well as the Width and Height of the region.
Extract from pages #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions > Extraction text location type: Location > Extract from pages
Displayed only when Extraction text location type is Location.
Determines which pages to extract text from:
- First (default)
- Last
- All
- Odd
- Even
Property #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions > Property
Specify the property where the extracted text will be saved.
Anchor text #
State Actions > State Action [1] > Action: Optical text extraction> Configuration > Optical text extractions > Extraction text location type: AnchorText> Anchor text
Displayed only when Extraction text location type is AnchorText.
Defines the anchor text. The extraction captures text appearing to the right of this anchor text on the same line.
