Version 25.1.0 of Extension Kit released!

We’re excited to announce the release of Extension Kit v25.1.0, featuring a brand-new module and many updates across existing ones.

New module: Embedded Dashboards

The Embedded Dashboards module enables seamless integration of external web portals directly into the M-Files user interface.

Key features:

• Persistent and Floating dashboards: Choose between Persistent and Floating dashboard types. Persistent dashboards are always displayed, while Floating dashboards appear conditionally based on object conditions (object types, classes, workflows or other property conditions).
• Flexible URL configuration: Choose between rich placeholder URLs with syntax highlighting and plain URLs that support the ‘%’ character.
• Customizable display rules: Intuitive configuration options allow precise control over when and where dashboards are shown, ensuring relevance and context for users.
• Seamless integration with external systems: Effortlessly connect to external web portals or applications, enabling a centralized view of business-critical data within M-Files.

Feature highlight: Limit on demand execution to N objects

Instead of processing thousands of objects at once, you can now execute rules on the first N objects that meet specific conditions. This allows you to break down tasks into smaller, more manageable batches, ensuring faster and more consistent processing. Using the Set Property option, objects can be marked as processed. This ensures that actions won’t be executed multiple times for the same object, helping you maintain accuracy and avoid redundant processing.
