Permission Options

This section refers to object permissions modification options. The following sections are available:

The mentioned sections specify how to find the target and in which way permissions will be modified on the object.

Set permissions target #

Permission set [1] > Set permissions on

Object to set permissions on. Permission can be set on source object, object in vault search or object in specified vault search.

  • Source (default): Searches for the value from the trigger source.
  • Vault Search: Searches the vault.
  • Specify: Specifies where to get the value from. If selected, additional fields are available: Static search filters for Value from, Dynamic search filters for Value from, Search results sort, Exclude source from search results.

Set permissions target version #

Permission set [1] > Set permissions on version

Specifies whether the source object must match the specified conditions in a current version, all previous versions or all versions.

  • LatestObjVersion (default)
  • AllPerviousObjVersion
  • AllObjVersions

Modify permissions mode #

Permission set [1] > Modify permissions mode

  • Append (default): Choose this option to add permission to already existing permissions.
  • Overwrite: Choose this option to overwrite permissions on an object and append permission in the configuration.
  • Delete: Choose this option to delete existing permission on an object.
  • DisableAutoPermissions: Choose this option to disable automatic permissions on an object (if a user can disable them).

User source #

Permission set [1] > User source

  • Dynamic (default): Choose this option to set a user or user group dynamically through the property.
    • Permission set [1] > Value
  • User: Choose this option to choose a user statically.
    • Permission set [1] > User
  • Group: Choose this option to choose a group statically.
    • Permission set [1] > Group

Permission types #

  • Read Permission: This option allows user or user group to read object properties without editing permissions.
    • Permission set [1] > ReadPermission
  • Edit Permission: This option allows user or user group to edit the object and its properties.
    • Permission set [1] > EditPermission
  • Delete Permission: This option allows user or user group to delete the object and its properties.
    • Permission set [1] > DeletePermission
  • Change Permissions Permission: This option allows user or user group to change permission on the object.
    • Permission set [1] > ChangePermissionsPermission

Possible permission values #

  • MFPermissionNotSet (default): Permission is not set.
  • MFPermissionAllow: Permission is allowed.
  • MFPermissionDeny: Permission is denied.
