Digital certificate #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Digital certificate

Specifies the digital certificate used for signing the document. The certificate can be selected from a file path, a source object, or a search result.

Resource type #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Digital certificate > Resource type

Specifies the source of the digital certificate used for the signature. The following options are available:

• FromPath: The signature will be added from a defined file path. If selected, a Path field will be available to define the path.
• FromSourceObject: The signature will be added from a source object or a referenced object on source. If selected, the Property and Filename wildcards are available for further configuration.
• FromSearch: The signature will be added from the search result object. If selected, the following fields are available: Signature search, Search timeout, Property, and Filename wildcards.

Digital certificate password #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Digital certificate password

The password required to access the digital certificate and apply the digital signature to the document.

Signature placement #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Signature placement

Specifies where to place a signature within a document.

• Location (default): Select this option to specify the exact placement of the signature using the Location on page.
• Placeholder: Select this option to position the signature based on a predefined placeholder, with the Placeholder field available for specification.

Add to page #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Add to page

Select the pages where the digital signature should be added.

• First: Add the signature to the first page.
• Last: Add the signature to the last page.
• Specify: Enter a specific page number in the Specify page number field (default: 1).

Digital signature appearance #

State Action [1] > Action: AddDigitalSignature > Configuration > Digital signature > Digital signature appearance

Specify the following details for the digital signature:

• Font size: The default is 10.
• Font family: The default is Arial.
• Signature width percentage: The default is 0.5.
• Digital signed label: The default is Digitally signed by.
• Date label: The default is Date.
• Datetime format: The default is yyyy.MM.dd HH:mm:ss.
• Show contact info: The default is Yes.
• Contact info label: Available if the Show contact info is enabled. The default is Contact.
