Action type #
Choose between different action types.
- Create (default): Create new objects manually or from a template. If selected, the New objects section is available for further configuration.
- Duplicate: Create duplicated objects from a template. If selected, the Duplicate objects section is available for further configuration.
- Delete: Delete or destroy objects defined in the configuration. If selected, the Delete objects section is available for further configuration.
Delete objects #
This section allows users to configure objects that will be deleted or destroyed.
- Expand Delete objects.
- Click on Add Delete object.
- Expand Delete object [1].
By default, the following fields become available:
- Deletion type
- Destroy objects
- Remove deleted object reference from vault search result
- Remove deleted object reference from search results
Deletion type #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Deletion type
Controls how objects for deletion are found: statically, by reference, or by search.
Note: The Source object can only be deleted when Execution mode is set to Background or BackgroundTransaction.
- Source (default): Deletes the source object. If selected, the following fields are available: Destroy objects, Remove deleted object reference from vault search result, and Remove deleted object reference from search results.
- Reference: Deletes referenced objects. If selected, the following fields are available: Reference property, Reference direction, Filter conditions, Destroy objects, Remove deleted object reference from source, Remove deleted object reference from vault search result, and Remove deleted object reference from search results.
- VaultSearch: Deletes objects found via a vault search. If selected, the following fields are available: Destroy objects, Remove deleted object reference from source, and Remove deleted object reference from search results.
- StaticObject: Deletes objects based on static object definitions. If selected, the following fields are available: Static objects, Destroy objects, Remove deleted object reference from source, Remove deleted object reference from vault search result, and Remove deleted object reference from search results.
- SearchResult: Deletes objects found via dynamic or static search filters. If selected, the following fields are available: Static search filters, Dynamic search filter, Search results sort, Exclude source from search results (read more about these options here), Destroy objects, Remove deleted object reference from source, Remove deleted object reference from vault search result, and Remove deleted object reference from search results.
Destroy objects #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Destroy objects
Defines whether deleted objects should be destroyed. When set to true, objects for deletion will be permanently destroyed.

Remove deleted object reference from source #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Remove deleted object reference from source
Displayed when Deletion type is set to anything other than Source.
Remove the deleted object reference from a property on the source object. Select the property from the vault.
Remove deleted object reference from vault search result #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Remove deleted object reference from vault search result
Displayed when Deletion type is set to anything other than VaultSearch.
Remove the deleted object reference from a property on a vault search result object. Select the property from the vault.
Remove deleted object reference from search results #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Remove deleted object reference from search results
Define conditions for finding objects that contain a reference to the deleted object. If multiple objects are found, the deleted object reference will be removed from the specified property on each.

Reference property #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Deletion type: Reference > Reference property
Displayed when Deletion type is Reference.
Specify the reference property on the source object, or on the object for deletion when indirect direction is used. If multiple objects are referenced, each will be deleted. Select the property from the vault.
Reference direction #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Deletion type: Reference > Reference direction
Displayed when Deletion type is Reference.
Indicates the type of reference between the source and target objects.
- Direct (default): Source object references the target object.
- Indirect: Source object references the target object.
Filter conditions #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Deletion type: Reference > Filter conditions
Displayed when Deletion type is Reference.
These are optional search conditions used to find the object for deletion.
Static object #
Action type: Delete object > Delete objects > Deletion type: StaticObject> Static object
Displayed when Deletion type is StaticObject.
Static object selector. Allows you to define specific objects for deletion via the Object Type and Object ID properties.
